yeah that shit sucks, I got a close call playing lacrosse in high school. A storm came in, so we all started running to the cars and a bolt hit in between all of us about the same distance from me as you got. Standing in water holding a big metal pole, zapped the shit out of me. It knocked two guys to the ground. We dropped all our gear and took shelter til it passed. Shit hurt. I dont like to ride in lightning either.

When my father was a youngster working at a grocery store, he was helping the Dr pepper guy unload his truck. The driver was up in the back and he was on the ground. Lightning struck the truck and blew my dad back against the wall. The driver was on the ground. His glasses and rings were melted into his skin. His shoe soles were blown off.

Wednesday I learned that at REI they have a pouch that you can buy for $10 that will dry out electronics. Go buy it. I didn't learn the name of said product, but it's by the travel bags and small pelican cases.
Today I learned the BMW-1200LT is a badass bike that is much more nimble than it would originally lead on. It has REVERSE and a power centerstand - holy moly!

It doesn't need to be clean, but I WANT it to be clean before I ride it again. Maybe I'll do that today since I washed the car yesterday. |
