Personally, I think there should be more guaranteed time off in this country.

Those numbers don't seem right (at least America's). Does that mean required by law paid time off? Even at my old shitty job I got paid time off on holidays and vacation time.

Yeah, those are the days off required by law in each country.

Gotcha. If that is the case then America has the only good numbers becuase it's not the government's business to mandate that a private business needs to give its workers paid time off (or unpaid time off).

Yeah, I know, this isn't the war room, but I'll comment. I do agree with you, to an extent. The problem I have with it is that the government is mandating everything else, including healthcare insurance. If people had some time off work to enjoy life and reduce stress, they'd be a little healthier, thus reducing the need for healthcare coverage. JMO. And yes, I know that many companies do give time off, and a decent amount of it, even though they aren't required to. However, since time off isn't required, a lot of companies don't give much paid time off. And those are usually the shittier jobs to begin with and ones where workers would benefit from time off even more. Ok, since this isn't the war room, I'll say no more on the subject.
