![]() I can see the eagle being curious, but I really don't think losing a pet is a valid concern. Unless I'm way off base, eagles and predatory birds can only carry a few pounds. So unless it was the runt of a litter of Teacup Poodles, the dog should remain on the ground. Act? Attack?? Maybe so, but attacking is very different than carrying the kid away. |

Yep, it's a big bird. No doubt there. But having a big wingspan doesn't automatically translate to being able to carry large prey away in flight.
