Eh, seriously, I'd rather have something we can (for the most part) manage to work on at home. (there's absolutely a lust factor there with the exotic bikes, but not too terribly practical, in terms of parts pricing, etc....)

Truely!! Big brother has to take his bike to tallahassee to get serviced...kinda silly but just part of owning an itialian in a small area with no dealers whereas all the rest of the stable can go locally to any of the area shops or a friends garage!

Parts for the Italian bikes may be more expensive but if you like'em. Dont be afraid to own one. They are not that much different to work on if thats your thing. Just get a good service manual.

I LIKE them, but I don't lust for them like I do Triumphs and BMW's. If I were to go "exotic," I'd go Street Triple. (just a bit rich for my budget at the moment.... )
