I'm buying a cane sword when I get home.
Nothing says get out of my seat, like a big pointy knife. JC

Interesting viewpoints...I find myself naturally opening doors and offering my seat or place to those disabled, on crutches or elderly. The way I was raised, its just polite. I dont do it in a manner to make them feel bad or special, and if they decline, they decline, but at least I offered. Im also that weird person at the store who will let you go ahead of me if I have 10 items and you have 1.

TC, you are just too nice.
I actually try to help out people a lot. Don't think I've ever let someone in front of me at the grocery store though haha. |

Go for the Scotch cane instead. Less immediate gratification, but in a few minutes you don't really care anymore.

My mom's been asking for a t-shirt that says, "I have Muscular Dystrophy, what's your excuse?" They are slightly harder to find than you might imagine. |

Yes there are also lots of internet sites that will make bumper stickers, t-shirts, etc etc with whatever you want on them.
When I was pregnant I wanted to get a t-shirt to wear to the gym that said, "I'm pregnant, what's your excuse?" |
