If you go to the Grand Canyon - I highly recommend doing the river rafting trip. Tour West River rafting
Before you balk at the price, look at all it includes It's like roughing it but not.

I'd be interested in seeing this but haven't seen it listed. Wonder when it's on up here or even if it's on.
I've been to quite a few national parks (both Canadian and US). Fascinating! |

If this is in HD then I'm watching it. I'll make Gas Man watch it too.

It's mostly history of the parks, so the HD doesn't really make a difference because a lot of it is old movies and pictures. There is a few nice shots though.

A National Park motorcycle tour is on my bucket list. I"ve been to a lot of them and seen some amazing scenery. I think Yosemite NP is the prettiest place I've been too, I'd recommend to anyone for a "must do" parks list.

The story of the Edward & Margaret Gehrke, simply amazing.
The loggers and the GSM still pisses me off. Made me remember that sign on the Skyway that describes how they cut down the old forest for as far as you can see. Also, the removal of the locals from the land and how other communities donated the little that they had to try to create it. Just simply amazing how it came to be. Good show
