BMW engineering and quality control are totally overrated.
Wait till something fucked up on the bike. Then BMW will blame it on the owner instead of taking responsibility. We shall see how fast this bike is outside of the dyno room.

Consider that the Duck has an advantage of 200-cc worth of displacement, it better have a shit ton more power. As far as better suspension goes? I doubt it.

I went riding with some folks Sunday. One of them was a guy I've known for years who just got a BMW. We had a good laugh about Him on a BMW. But, he Loves it. He got the R/W/BL like the one in Trip's pic. He said he had thought he would keep his R1, but after 150 miles on the BMW, he said he is ready to let the R1 go. It looks great in the flesh, much better than the magazine pics. I like the way it looks and it for sure is a rocket.

He's watching the military channel and is dictating his response... He has ridden it a lot, but not lately since we live close to Springfield. The meetup point is usually Uncle Pete's and it's just too far to make it a regular ride.
