How would you even know? It's on his property, he used a silent weapon. If you are tracking your cat that much, why not just make sure to keep it in your own yard?

Sorry, then you should be legally killed for threatening the man on his own property.

The point I'm trying to make, is that if you off somebodies pet, you would be a fool not to expect consequences.

Cats are not the easiest animals to keep control of. The little bastards are escape artists, and even the most diligent cat owner may have one get out on occasion.

You wanna kill my cat over that? You're going to have a problem...

No I'm talkin 180lb crossbow.. 300+fps, the kind you use to kill deer. Accurate as all get out at 20 - 30 yards.

This.

...And furthermore, killing someone's pet, perhaps someone's best friend, is an unkind gesture to man, let alone beast.

Geez.

In most cases I bet you would never even know what happened to your cat. Unless the person is stupid enough to brag or put it on youtube or something. If the person is smart, no one would ever find out. It's a cat, not a person, so the cops wouldn't give a damn to solve the mystery of the vanished cat... They would care if you could prove it, but lets face it, pets "run away" or "go missing" all the time.

Responsible cat owners would get em microchipped. So in the event that someone does what I said, take em to a shelter, the cat would be returned to the responsible owner and maybe learn a lesson that the neighborhood isn't friendly to their cat. Cause I am sure the shelter would probably inform them that someone trapped their cat on for trespassing.

There is a neighborhood dog that sometimes shits on my lawn.
Can any of you recommend a good crossbow or bb gun to use on it?
Don't want to use a shotgun because it may disturb the neighbors.

I've got the same problem and the owner is actually walking the dog.. Think I need to take care of the owner!
