It happened a lot with my Jeeps and all my air cooled VW's.
Strangely it's been happening once in a while in the Suburban too. |

I think that belongs on a slightly more obscure vehicle. |

Vette drivers have been doing it forever. My Dad bought an '85 new and other Vette drivers would wave when we drove past them back then.

You've got the wrong year for that, I always got waves from other classic mustangs when I had the '66
I try to always wave at other motorcycles regardless of what they're riding. It's funny to me that around here at least I sometimes won't get waves from the cruiser crowd even when I'm on the harley, I think it must be because I'm all geared up I'm not cool enough to get a wave. Sportbikers pretty much always wave, regardless of what I'm riding. I try to do the same. |

Most motorcyclist and bicyclist wave around here. If I'm walking or running people seem to wave. Sometimes I wave to them, but that is just because I'm saying "thank you for not hitting me".
The farmers wave to each other on the tractors, though I'm sure if you are on the wrong brand they might not. LOL. |

I've seen S2000, Porsche, and Miata owners wave to other owners. Just like motorcycles, I think it just goes w/ the territory for vehicles that generate a lot of passion from their owners. |

Anyone else wave at a bike while driving their car?
