1 year
Could you move away from everything for 1 year?
I'm toying with the idea of working in the far north for 1 year. The pay is pretty good. It's not amazing. It's not mind blowing. But it's pretty darn good. Within 1 year, I'd be able to pay off several debts and be left with only moderate debt that would easily be payable in the next year if I moved back. I haven't even decided to apply yet because I'm not sure I want to do it. |

Doing a little more figuring I'd be able to pay off all debts save student loans in the first 4 months. Student loans would be paid off over the next 8 months with possibly a little nest egg left at the end.

I wouldn't move to the far north. I'd go south though.

No doubt. I can't get my wife to move out of Central PA or I'd be in South Carolina this afternoon.

North and South Carolina are the worst for teaching! Pay scales are absolutely rediculous. No way in hell would I bother with that.

My wife is a teacher. But I was not aware of that.
