Nope. It seems Yamaha decided (accurately I think) that Americans don't like big ass adventure bikes that cost over $15,000 unless they have a propeller logo on the tank.

If they brought it over and just converted Euro to Dollars the Yamaha would be right at $20,000. Of course if they did that with the R1 it would be a $21,000 motorcycle so it is really anyone's guess. Both numbers are working from pricing in Germany.
