Nope. It seems Yamaha decided (accurately I think) that Americans don't like big ass adventure bikes that cost over $15,000 unless they have a propeller logo on the tank.

interesting that they chose a *270 firing order. I guess they are going to shun *180s across the entire line?

Don't get me wrong. I like it too, but for similar money would you rather have this Yamaha or a BMW 1200GS?

If they brought it over and just converted Euro to Dollars the Yamaha would be right at $20,000. Of course if they did that with the R1 it would be a $21,000 motorcycle so it is really anyone's guess. Both numbers are working from pricing in Germany.
