So I welcomed a thief into my home today...
with my Glock.
Today is my day off. It was like 1pm and as I got out of the shower, I hear my dog barking at someone knocking at the front door. I'm not expecting anyone, I ain't gonna answer the door. They knock again a minute later, but by the time I get to the peephole, no one is there. Go back to my room and the dog alerts to something going on in the back patio area. Again, I get to the window and nothing is there, damn bunnies are teasing the dog again. Go back to my room and the dog is alerting to something outside the window. This time I see a 15 year old skinny white male, skulking around in the desert landscaping area separating the apt. buildings behind my apt. He's txting on his phone and looking up to no good. Then he walks to the other side of my apt and stands there for a minute, then walks away, towards the back of my neighbors apt. I shrug him off and continue getting dressed. A minute later the dog goes ape shit in my roommates bedroom. I hear the window slide open and grabbed my G27 off my shelf, chambered a round and run into the room. I see the blinds moving around and run up to them, grab a hand full and pull it aside, and stick it in this dudes face. I started screaming who the fuck are you and he takes his hands off the window sill, puts them up and steps back. I asked him again who the fuck he was and what the fuck was he doing. He stammers a "oh, sorry" and starts to turn away. I told him if he didn't stop moving I was gonna shoot his ass, but he ran away. I was barefoot so I didn't chase him. I yelled at him as he ran away and assured him I'd shoot him in the face if I ever saw him again. Cops came in 8 mins, but didn't find him, I'm sure he lives in a nearby building. The CSS gal got a print off the window, so hopefully this bitch is in the system. Then the cops can go let his parents know their kid came damn close to getting shot in the face while breaking and entering someone's home. I was suppose to go riding this morning but stayed home to do chores. Thank god I didn't go out, the fucker had a backpack on and was probably looking for presents to steal. The dog did an awesome job to alerting me to this asshole. Today I am grateful for my G27 & my dog Lola. I'm also gonna talk to the roomie about leaving windows open when they leave the house |

Yay for guns. You should have let him get fully into the house and then had fun with him.
