I ride a MC and almost kill myself with a car!?
So I am late for work, rockin the 83 Firebird and notice the power steering slipping. Curious I slide into a gas station and park too close to the pump where I can barely open my door. Slide out, slide the card, start the pump and go for the hood.
Fluid is fine so I check the belt. Loose. Damn, now I gotta go home and tighten it, prolly get real late for work and greasy to boot. Pump clicks off, I grab the receipt, slam the hood, open the door and drop in. INTO the side window glass (as the door isn't open very far) hanging my right ear and snapping my head into the roof with the weight of my body to provide a sure slap on my right temple. Thus bleeding, curled up in the fetal position in the drivers side of my car I realize it just wasn't my day! Today is better, power steering belt tightened, butterfly band aids holding my skull together, but I can't get into my helmet (which I should wear 24/7). Moral. Cars will kill you, buy a motorcycle! |

If I had seen it I woulda laughed! I drove home stunned. Got 2 blocks before I realized the blood was trickling. No one saw it. I got no sympathy points at all when I got home either. Oh that's not exactly true, the wife made me sugar cookies!

That sucks I've done it too- minus the bleeding and bandages... Freaking tiny little cars. Save your skull- buy a truck!
