I've got an 04...neat little bike (although styling is quite dated).

woah...price jumps to $3999 for 2009. ick...kawasaki may be pricing themselves out of a huge seller. ~30% price jump in 2 years?!?!?

I still want a new 250. even years after I started riding, it'd make a sweet commuter/playtoy for the track I think. tires for that are CHEAP, and EASY to get, the bike is fun as hell(the newer ones much moreso) and it just looks+sounds great. I know a number of people who own them, and absolutely love em.

Some guy posted a link to Daytona Beach Craigslist where a guy is letting a slightly rashed '08 250 go for $2500.
