Default Keys

How many of you keep your bike key on a ring with other key(s)? Reason I ask is that I have never been one to keep any ring on my bike key so as I don't scratch up the bike. I want to put a house key and bike key on a ring, but am looking for a way to keep scratches from happening and make getting at either of the keys simple. What do you do, or do you say to hell with it and keep them both seperate in your pocket?

my ignition is on the side of most of my bikes so it's never been a problem. i'd try to get a key cover or something like that on a key ring

My bike key is always separate.
The only thing I have on the ring with the bike key is the soft key tag.

JUST a key - no ring, no fob, no other keys. I'd like my bike to stay unmarred. I have a key ring that goes in my pocket or my tank bag. Or stays home. Nothing on there I need on a ride usually.

I keep my bike key on its own ring with a little rubber bike silhouete attached to it. When I take the key out of the bike, it gets clipped to the rest of my keys with a d-ring.

Or you could get one of those little leather key wallets that hold all the keys and only let one out at a time.

truck and house keys on one ring, bike keys on individual rings. Actually the key to my VTX has a streamer thing, but not metal. And the key to my RC has a fob from deals gap. They're both Hondas so I gotta keep 'em separated somehow.

I kept mind on my regular key chain and would remove the bike key to ride the bike. In the ignition I would use the key only. After getting off the bike I would put it back on my keychain.

I have my Honda key, one of those mountain climbing hook thingies, Honda thing that I guess came from a gas station (Was on it when I got my bike) and my house key. Nothing major though. I always use the hook to loop to my jeans so my keys don't get lost.

Just a key.

No ring, no fob, nothing to fly around and hit any part of the bike. Especially with the Ducs - the ignition is in the front of the tank.
