Ah I'm coming to the party a bit late. Looks like Josh has you squared away though on what you should be doing.

I used a Blue Sea marine grade fusebox on the Busa. Powered that with a relay from Radio Shack that I tied into the turn signal circuit.

Right now I'm just running the GPS off of it. I need to wire up a charger for my iPhone, and ultimately the *sear your retina* driving lights I still need to hook up, and a full complement of heated gear. The Busa charging system will run all of that. Barely.

I still need to wire up a voltage gauge so I can keep a real-time check on charging status.

I drink tea, dear. I can't stand coffee.

Besides, I'd also have to power the coffee bean grinder, and then there would be some dilettante that would whine about not having fresh milk (i.e. necessitating a refrigerator) to make cappuccinos or lattes or whatever foofy coffee/milk beverage is in fashion nowadays...

If I do upgrade to the 60A alternator, I can run a 500 Watt microwave while riding, although I'd have to shut down the ECM pod...

:bigrofl:

Ok, so if no coffee, then you at least need a water heater.

Hey I'm gonna leave the microwave and fridge at home. Ive learned over the years that I can keep food cold in the cooler with some ice, and if I need to cook the steaks I can do it on the exaust.

I am slowly compiling parts to finish the upgrades. I will do a full write up when I am done.

In the mean time I'm gonna start a parts list here so I don't forget.

Fuse block
in line glass fuse
relay
electrical connectors
wire loom

and this is slightly worse but similar to what I want it to look like. I'm using the same components.

I wonder if I can upgrade my stator without building something. It would be nice.
