Gotta love the work drama
I know I know, its not another here we go again with toms work rants
Had a rather busy night last night, no real cool stories, but did have to treat a working girl Anyway, I have one decent nurse, and one POS nurse. Now the decent nurse was a little off his game due to something that occured earlier in his shift, which was entireley understandable, and he still did a good job. Now the other one was hardly here (which isnt always a bad thing except for when work has to be done) and he was getting annoyed, as was i since there was stuff to be done. The capper was she took a 3 hr break. on the overnights the nurses kind of have an agreement that they will take 2 hr breaks and cover each other. Now theres a few that abuse the privilige and their colleagues will complain but no one actualy does anything about it. It doesnt help that supervision in nursing here is a joke and its all part of what click youre in it seems. So I took the initiatvae and gave our director a heads up on this since I had some other issues that needed to be adressed, so hopefully this acomplishes something. Our director was actualy glad I e-mailed him because they want to know whats going on, and now I am a hero among the techs and some of the nurses for actualy saying something and calling out the people in charge. Must be a union thing where none of them will actualy step up and do anything Tom |

Are you safe from coworker and supervisor retaliation? It always seems when someone has to finally point out the ridiculousness of a situation or other people, that their the ones who suffer.

actually I think reading your rants makes my days seem better.
I hate the politics and drama involved with working in an office. |

Funny thing is the e-mail is spreadding like wildfire now and they all think I am some sort of hero for saying something. A few years ago i threw an EKG tech under the bus for being the lazy piece of shit that she is. the other techs actualy bought me lunch for a whole week since they had to always pick up the slack for her laziness. problem was she was a big time bible thumper and her supervisor at the time was too so she let stuf fslide for her.
