How do I search?

How do I look for a specific person's posts IN a thread? Do I ctrl + f their name?

If I search via user's posts I have to through all their posts.

I got nothin. I guess you could do an advanced search then go to the persons name and hit only posts (not whole thread) and look for the thread name.

Actually, I found it. In the top of the thread, click search this thread -> advanced search. Type in the persons name and you are set.

you can search through specific forums or add keywords you are looking for and specify show posts to see a snippet of the post
