Always for fire alarms.

As a teacher we were time with how quickly we could organize our class and get them out, accounted for, and quiet when an alarm went off.

I usually look if I hear a car alarm to make sure it's not my car. My bike alarm pages me so I don't care if other people look or not.

I don't think thieves will take the chance that no one will look and bail regardless.

i dont react in the least. I was on lsa anaconda last tour and they have an indirect fire alarm that would trigger wh en motars were fired at the base. It used to be extremely amusing to watch the pogues scatter when that thing went off.
