Default Do you have a certain rpm?

When just cruising around town or a backroad at a steady 55mph or so, do you have a certain/target rpm you cruise at usually? If so, what is it?

4k - 4.5k. It's the sweet spot on the KZ.

For just cruising, I usually keep it between 4-5000 and she's happy. If I need to haul ass or pass somebody in a hurry, I just downshift

Top gear always as fast as possible for best fuel economy and lowest emissions.

3rd or 2nd in the canyons.

3rd-4th depending on how much traffic, so 3-4K rpms. I try to be in highest possible for best fuel mileage.

I have a certain RPM I avoid. That's anywhere from about 5400 to 5600. Everything on my bike resonates terribly there.

rev limiter, all gears.

seriously I usually aim for 4500 or so on any 500-600cc bike, right around 2500-4k on a 1000.
