What are you talking about? Assinine rules aren't new to this country, we have always put stupid shit into the rulebooks that should be no concern of ours. Hell a lot of states still have no sodomy laws.

I wasn't referring to laws, I'm referring to the people being more responsible for their decisions because there was no bailout for them. They were self sufficient and so forth.
