My old KLR ran better than any other KLR I've ridden. I even have friends who swapped out exhausts, installed jet kits, opened air boxes, etc., and my bone stock KLR would still outrun them. It was just one of the "good" ones. I know . . . it's just a KLR, but still . . . it was a good one.

I sold it to a gentleman who planned on taking 6 months or so and touring around the country. About a month into his trip, he blew the fuse for the radiator fan and let it over heat to the point of seizing the motor. Ugh. It had the best motor of any KLR I'd ever seen and the new owner goes and blows the thing up over a 29 cent fuse.

seen my ol' VFR for sale on craigslist a few weeks back. so it's survived since august last yr so far.

I think upshift or someone saw my SV at Southern Powersports and it had been laid down. It's sad to hear about your ex having issues.
