A brand new Triple.
Not waiting for the new year; diet starts the day after Christmas. I'm dropping to 145 pounds in 2011, and staying there.
I always thought my "ideal" weight was 165 pounds. I've been as heavy as 195 (both in and out of shape) and as low as 155 (this summer after my accident). I've always had a big frame for my height (just shy of 5-foot-8). I'm hovering around 170 right now, but I haven't been on an exercise routine since before my surgery. I want to see how the skinny people live. I will pick back up on weight training, but not to the extent I used to. I'm going to try my hand at bicycling, for the cardio... and I think it will help rehabilitate my wrecked knee. I'd also like to see how much strength I retain through the cut. I benched 300 pounds in April at about 175 pounds, and I wasn't very cut at the time; I'm hoping I can move the same weight at 145-150. Plus, the less weight my motorcycle has to haul around, the better... |

It takes 21 days to create a habit. The sooner you get into those days, the better.

Thanks for the words of encouragement, guys.
Not exactly my first rodeo and I'm not in bad shape to begin with. Waiting until after Christmas because I want to eat some yummy fucking Christmas food before I start depriving myself. I know the kind of diet my body requires to cut weight and it's no fun. |

that';s why you keep yoyo'ing. It shouldn';t be a diet, but a life change.
Simple really. Eat clean, unprocessed food. and exercise. Lift weight. Just incorporate that into your life. This whole " i'm gonna start AFTER such and such" usually sets you up for failure.
