Why do I feel like I am just watching the same episodes from before, only with American cars?

I watch it because I don't have BBCA anymore. It's in the top tier (or second to top) on Dish and was the only channel I watched that was above the very bottom tier. Didn't feel like paying $25 per month just for one channel that only carried one show that I watch. So I'll settle for the American version, at least until it gets cancelled after the first season.

This.
I'll admit, I don't hate it as much as I thought I would, but then I've only watched one episode. I don't WANT to like it, because honestly there's no NEED for it (other than to show us cars we can actually get in the US). |

I liked it as well and they do make a twin turbo Raptor 800 too. There are some not good stories floating around the interwebs about serious problems dealing with Hennessy though.
ETA: In my opinion the show has become better than it was initially. While the hosts still aren't as comfortable as they could be, especially when doing voice overs, their interaction with each other has improved. I thought the most recent episode about the best past American car was the best one yet and it made me genuinely laugh a few times. Of course much of it is derivative from the UK version but that shouldn't come as any surprise. I will continue to watch and with the last few episodes doing so wasn't a chore. I also suspect it will continue to improve as the season goes along. Last edited by goof2; 12-20-2010 at 02:28 PM.. |

I like this newest episode best, the show is growing on me. It was actually pretty funny.
