The problem with these bikes is you cannot carry any large baggage piece. To LAX, the 105 sucks in the morning and splitting is a must, but you really cannot split with that Spyder. Goldwing would be cool.

when I was stationed in cali (north of sacramento 02-05) people still tried opening doors and cutting off bikes that lane split... most had no idea it was legal...
hell they even had a radio morning show tell people to open their doors and stop the "idiots" from getting by... it caused a HUGE uproar and resulted in the boycotting of the motorcycle dealerships that sponsored the station, the eventual firing of the personality, and every week for a month they read some sort of motorcycle friendly law or story.. just cause it's legal, doesn't mean I wanna do it... I mean the fact that I was right and they were wrong wouldn't keep me out of a hospital bed if things went bad |
