With your much-touted Google prowess, surely you could have found another article that actually talked about the issue with reviews. Like, say, this one:

Except most of those articles mention that the review hiccup may have been app-store-wide, and any missing reviews were back the next day. And that kind of discretionary reading wouldn't really help your point.

The news nugget that some reviews disappeared off the app store, and came back the next day, likely due to a system glitch across the whole store?

You're right. I'm sure it's innocent. Nothing to do with the "one star rating" or anything...I'm sure it's pure coincidence. Apple is a nice company, that never does anything shady. You should go work for them.
