It was more than Likely hotter than that...IIRC I believe it was Over 200 Degrees...We brew Coffee at my work at 195...And thats right out of the Brewer, It dips to about 190 185 by the time it hits the cup. And MOST People add creamer and sugar and shit...By the time it's prepped and ready for the first sip most people's coffee is around 170 Ish give or take.
I had an associate lose there grip on a Coffee pot at my job and she sustained third degree burns on her hand from the coffee hitting her skin and that was after it had been sitting for an hour in the pot.
