I'm betting most people who complain about Jews live in towns where there are practically no Jews to begin with. As such, they've probably never had any exposure to Jews, or even if they did, didn't even know they were Jews. Their only reason for complaining about Jews is because it's hip to do so, within the fucked-up circles they run in.

It's kind of funny you say that. I had a black patient the other day who was telling us the story of his life. My partner was black so he was asking how it was growing up black in his time. He apparently came from rural Georgia and said racial issues didn't exist in his town, or none that he saw. His mom worked for a white family and he would play with their white kids. In high school he even dated a white girl. At 18 he joined the military and went to Germany with no racial issues there. When he got back to America he moved to Atlanta and took on a job at the postal service with a route in a very well to do rich white area. There he encountered racism for the first time in his life to the point had a shotgun pulled on him while delivering mail. Along with people calling the cops about a "crazy negro in a uniform".

The weird thing was is he said the local Atlanta people weren't the problem but the one's from the North. He said the worst racism he ever had was from northerners who moved south.
