bmc race vs. k&n
'00 gsxr 750 is the bike, if it matters.
i ran stacks/no filters on my other bike for years with no problems, so obviously i care less about running a race filter on the street. i hear bmc beats k&n-but all i got is a trs slip on. no pc(maybe in the future). question-whats better? race filter probably flows better, but what about cleaning and durability? u can clean em both, but if one falls apart after two cleanings, id like to know that. pricewise k&n beats bmc, but only by 10bucks. ill pay an extra 10 for better quality/durability, if thats the case.

from what I hear the BMC is just a foam filter... no oil... that's my only nock on the K&N (I still run one though)... if your not careful when you "reoil" it and get too much oil... that oil goes into your motor and burnt on to your intake tracks, valves and everywhere else air and exhaust goes...

BMC Race... Pretty much the same as a K&N but I like to be Different.
As far as maintence, 2 years strong and no cleaning yet... I should get to that. But it still looks great and they flow like mad.
