seems the metalulogy is different from the lip and the main part of the spokes and "spine" of the wheels and wasnt affected by the brake cleaner, if i am lying im dying

itd be the coating is different, not the metalurgy-i was thinkin using tape, and being careful at the edges. i'll give it a shot.

They look like the factory clear coats them over the silver but the rough spokes and inner edge is black powder coated. Weird stuff... But looks great when cleaned... if you were expecting that!
