Does my Mac address change if I move from my house location to a new house with a dif IP address? If it stays the same do I have to get a new network card to get a new MAC address?

Your mac address is built into your bios. (Correct me if I am wrong.) I don't know if it is hardware or software that you would have to change.

Mac address is the specific hardware address of your card. It (usually) does not change unless you change the actual card. It can be "spoofed" ( http://kbserver.netgear.com/kb_web_files/n101227.asp ).

MAC or Media Access Control address does not change. It is associated with each NIC (Network Interface Card) and assigned by the manufacturer. Every NIC has a different MAC. Your wireless card has a different MAC than your Ethernet card.
