Other than it having 1198cc (rumored all R's and and possibly S's will be) Its a typical R with limited paint and top clamp. I guessing 30k but who knows what the dealers will mark it up.

Visordown noted 26,000 British Pounds... at today's exchange rate - ~$41,500. Ducati NA will probably price it at $39,995, same as the 1098R.

Beautiful fucking bike. Collector's item for sure, especially since he is supposedly retiring...
So this is the 1098's final hurrah before it cedes the crown to the new 1198 and goes out of production?

Well that would be "R" spec pricing and no doubt cheaper than it woulda been had not the 1198 come so quickly on its heels....Still outta my league though...Wonder how bad I would be made fun of to paint an SV650 up tp match, that is in my price range
