When I was on ambien I'd have awful hallucinations, but not much for sleep. It would put me to sleep, but after about two hours I'd start waking up again. It didn't matter if it was regular Ambien or Ambien CR. The end result was the same: no sleep, disgusting and sluggish feeling.
Restoril was far more effective for me. After taking one, that would be it. I'd have about 15 minutes to get where I need to be sleeping or else I'd be out cold whereever I was. It also kept me asleep for a solid 8 hours at least without waking up to the disgusting feeling of ambien.

I hate jerkin it before bed cause then you're laying there and it feels like you have a hotplate between your legs, you just cant get it comfortable. best way to get me to bed is drinking. but that only works after i've exausted myself. benedryl will put me to sleep w/in a half hour of taking one. |
