No. Cats only care to be fed, and petted. They could care less if you sing or play. To them, it's only, at best, a distraction between feedings.

Ohhhhh...I beg to differ.

I bought a recorder(the little instrument) and was trying to play it but had to stop because my cat kept jumping on my lap to rub her face on it. She really likes music. Especially when I sing Violent Femmes to her.

She's a weird cat.

Oh, I've had cats that like music. They just don't give a shit if you write songs for them (unless you really say their name a lot in the song) and care more about the food. Even then, if you say their name a lot in the song, they just think you wanna feed 'em. I should have been more specific...
