Off the top of my head, I'm going to say it's a Sunbeam.

Early fiftys Nimbus (From Denmark) lookslike a Bender sidecar? 750cc inline four.

In a very odd way you may be on to something.
But no. Quote:
1951 Nimbus Model C Outfit 1 (made in Denmark, 746 cc four cylinder OHC engine, 22 bhp)

It's an interesting bike, it has overhead Cams, (with exposed valvespings!) but it's a foot clutch/hand shift bike. First invented in the 30's, and more advanced than the pushrod Harleys currently built!

What interests me is their "rotary valve" technology that they perfected but never put into production.

OK, since the last one of mine was apparently too easy, we'll go with this:

Oh, and BTW, for all of you who found my first bike so difficult to guess, look closely at the side of the head, it says ESO.
ESO was a private company that was nationalized in the Chzech Republic under the Jawa Corporation, which is still making bikes, and this was a development mule for the engine technology, and one of very few ESO/Jawa roadracers.
