"... the Buell looks like something is wrong with it. Everything's a little rough looking, brutal, and looks functional... mechanical... There is no doubt it's a machine with moving parts on the inside. Far from boring to the eye, it just looks like it does something." "With the Special OPS hacked pipe it sounded like it was going to come into your living room and cock-whip your grandma's teeth out of her mouth and then shit on your birthday cake." "The Buell is a much more fun bike to ride, looks cooler, sounds cooler, and just fits me better. I'm rough around the edges (believe it or not)... I'm a little curt, very crass, a tad ugly, pretty fucked up, loud, obnoxious, and relatively angry. The Buell is too." http://www.twowheelfix.com/showthread.php?t=1738 |

What do you have on yours? Race can? I've got a Drummer...sounds awesome...I'm interested in the savage beast of a Special Ops after OSP's description. Do you like the sound of the race can?

I really do. It's the best of both worlds. It sounds great, but not to loud to the rider, but it isn't that loud off the bike. It's weird. You'd think that it would be really loud from the bystander point of view, but it isn't. They're hard to come by right now, though. I'm surprised someone doesn't gut one and replicate it for sale. They'd have make a mint.

I loved the sound of my Special Ops around town, but I took it off because it was too loud for days of touring.
