ok Tommy,
i checked out New Roc HD this morning, and they had a couple XB12Rs on the floor.

-first off they're stuck on asking just under 7k for them.
-the ergos felt good for my size. seat is def. higher than my bike, but i could still flat foot it.
-the bike looks even better in person, to me anyway
-very nice & knowledgable salesmen (for once none of the typical HD dealer BS i've experienced from other HD dealers)
he offered me a test ride but i declined being that i didn't have any of my gear with me and i don't feel comfortable riding a different bike especially since it just rained by the time i got there.
he did pull the bike out for me to start it and let me rev, feel and listen to the engine.

i must say i've heard and read about all the vibration of the bike nonsense....
but DAMN, this thing was shaking all to hell.
i'm gonna go back next weekend, depending on the weather, for a test ride.
after that we'll see if i actually pull the trigger.

They shake like a jackhammer at idle.

The engine smoothes out at 2500-3000RPMs+.

Above 3,000, the heavy flywheel makes it one of the smoothest engines. They are actually smoother with 5000+ miles on the clock than new and remain smoothe.

I just don't sit around at idle any more than I have to.

Right now I'm talking to a guy from back home that I know personally. I'm just about done with the whole idea... it was an impulse purchase anyway.
