It would be rather silly to build this whole case about Irish discrimination when all your evidence is from the UK.

The song was from the UK, but was later adopted by Irish American immigrants. While you'll find many images of signs from the UK, that one was from New York.

As Homeslice already pointed out, Mexicans, the President of Mexico, American politicians, the ACLU, the Mexican American Legal Defense & Education Fund, the National Immigration Law Center, and the NAACP are a few of the people/groups.

Where are you seeing the discrimination today that you want compared to Irish/Italian historical immigration? You call me a jackass for talking about Mexicans, yet in the next post 101lifts quotes you saying the main issue is Mexicans, regardless of their legal status. If every Mexican crossing the border did so legit and were completely legal, I have a feeling that instead of calling for better border controls folks would be calling for strict quotas on Mexican immigrants.

Millions of, say, French people could enter illegally and pop out millions of kids, occupy emergency rooms, drive without insurance, earn money under the table, send billions of it outside the US, wave the French flag everywhere including on July 4th, and claim that they hold original rights to this land, and nobody would have any problem with it, because they're white.
