Just saw the first episode, pretty well done......Still dont get why all the zombie & vampire fetish these days. Why is there a thread about zombie apocolypses on every car/motorcycle board I go to? It reminds me of all the chuck norris threads a few years ago.

I think it's because of all of the possibility in what people would do and how they would handle situations. It's entertaining to hear people's thoughts on it (both serious and comical).

Exactly, it's just the current incarnation of the hypothetical "what would you do" scenario.
During the Cold War, it was "if there was a nuclear war and you survived", and before then it was "if you were stranded on a desert island".
Those two still pop up occasionally but the zombie scenario is, not surprisingly, the most popular.
I could go into the reasons, but I think we've already adequately covered that.

Because with the Zombie apocolypse scenario, it's quite possible a survivor would get the chance to shoot their boss in the face and it would be perfectly acceptable.

They played the opposite scenario in the walking dead. A guys wife became a zombie and he couldnt bring himself to shoot her when she was out with the rest of them

My father-in-law stopped the recording of it last Sunday because he was watching the game. *squint*

Had to record a replay of it late last night or the night before. Will watch both episodes tomorrow as I'm working from home.
