How is my gas going to be more expensive if I pump it myself? Just because that may be true in NJ compared to NY doesn't mean it would be true everywhere.

Gas in jersey is considerably cheaper than PA,NY,DE,And Maryland...yet everyone there has to do it themself...

Only because of the different tax structure in NJ, not because having an employee pump your gas magically makes it cheaper. In fact the reverse would normally be true.
