I had 12k posts in like the first year... shit the first 6 months of this place were just giant post whore sessions by ALL members

Don't be defensive. Posts are what keeps this place going. BUT, you still have five times as many.

You enjoy the POTM. I rarely even vote in it. You do the rallies and events. I'll never attend one..

I'm not saying I have anything against donations. But, some of you have a much more vested interest in this forum than the rest of us.

I spend my time on no less than 4 forums. Am I going to donate to all of them? Especially when the owner says he doesn't want or need it?

Edit: And you've only been here 9 more months than I have.

wasn't really trying to come off defensive, just stating facts... the first couple months of this place was one large post orgy.

as far as the donation/membership thing goes, no one is MANDATING you donate or become a member... I was just pitching the idea to help give back, yes this forum may one of 5 for you... for me, it's more than that... I consider a good handful of them good friends, and this, for lack of a better word is home. just want to see it grow and get more traffic that has to do with actual contraptions with motors and two wheels...
