Its still in beta, however I have found it to be very consistent. My "Cook Children's Hospital Mode" goes active just as I pull up in front of the parking garage, everytime.

That's just a small sample of what you can do with it. If you're good with computers, which I'm not beyond a basic level, you can do some really tricky stuff.

I don't know, I'm not sold on the Motoblur yet. I really, really love the HTC Sense interface on the Incredible. It is just fun to use, and brings me joy. I'll have to play with the X for a while first.

I'm a sucker for the more "useless" features. I love to turn my phone on when there's a thunderstorm outside and see the lightening and rain on the phone, so much fun.

My favorite program so far is "Tasker" which allows you to control everything your phone can do, automatically, based on location, time, application, etc. etc. For example, when I get to the hospital at night my phone goes on vibrate for ALL alerts, the screen goes to half brightness and it sends text to my wife letting her know I got there ok. Swype is my second favorite, which is standard on the Droid X. It has doubled how fast I can text, and I was pretty quick before.

And these are more reasons to hate the iPhone, because unless you jailbrake it you'll never be able to do stuff like that.
That sounds really cool.

It's nice to see cool shit like this coming out for droid. It shows the real potential of these phones and the harm Apple could be causing the technology by not allowing full use of it's operating system.

I've been watching Droid X vids on Youtube and reading additional previews/reviews all morning...to say that I'm excited about owning one is a HUGE understatement.

I guess it's not all rainbows and puppydogs in Android land:
Google puts the Android kill switch into effect, but why?

IIRC Apple has the same feature built in to the "i" devices...
