Update: I got her both.

I wanted to do a side-by-side comparison of the two, so we got one of each. One will be kept, one will be returned.

She wanted the iPhone and I expected her to favor that one but the DROID is pretty much kicking the shit out of it so far. Better phone, better camera, easier to view, the keyboard is nice and doesn't feel flimsy at all.

She actually finds the DROID as user-friendly if not moreso than the Apple.

The ability to be talk and surf is a nice feature of the iPhone.

Her big concern is the compatibiltiy / sync-ing issues with her Mac (DROID).

The weight isn't an issue though. It keeps it from being just an ordinary flexible, squeaky slider phone that creaks & flexes & makes noise when you squeeze it.

If people think the Droid is heavy then they need to jerk off more to build some forearm strength. This phone is not heavy.

I have an HTC diamond and leon has the touch pro 2. Verizon. I think my next phone is gonna be the droid.
