I find it REALLY hard to stay in the speed limit on the new bike. it always feels like im lugging the bike when im riding around town... any advice?
one thing i miss about the 250 was that you could really wind it up and feel like a badass but you're still only going 50 mph

Welcome to a decent mid size bike.
The 650 is fine at low rpms though. Winding it up is a waste of it's power.

yeah new bikes have that effect... get exhaust put on and it'll make you SOUND like your going faster too you'll shift early (at least I did) till your used to it
