See, I don't think they cater to anyone. They build and put stores where ever they can for the most part. They go a lot of places Target would never dream of putting a store. Target is a company that tries to cater to it's niche. Walmart doesn't give a shit who shops in their stores.

There are upscale walmarts, there is one not far from my house in the fancy part of town.

Walmart seeks to crush everyone.

You're right.

I should have said that they attract the trashiest of the trash.

And yes, there are nice Wal-Marts in nice neighborhoods but those are the exception, not the rule.

Yeah that I agree with, they have a shit ton of stores out in the middle of nowhere or in the inner city that allows us to have "people of walmart."

That's how walmart was really able to gain hold of their place though. They were able to cash in on markets most stores avoid.

They try to go to fancy areas too, but they get run out of town a lot.

I get all my work duds from Sears.
I'm not ashamed of being a billboard for Dockers.

For what it's worth....

Here are some pics I took inside the best Walmart I've ever been in.......It was some kind of "test" store they built a few years ago......I was told they only built 5-10 as nice as this one. This one was in a pretty rich suburb of Dallas (either Plano or Frisco, can't remember)

THESE are the kind of wide-open aisles & sweet signage that EVERY Walmart should have.....

Check out their wine section....

And their produce.....

You can actually buy professional looking clothes at Sears?

I haven't been there in a long time, but I thought the only dress shirts they had were from fake brands like Van Huesen, with cardboard-like collars and cuffs, and buttons that fall off after 3 wearings.

When I go there, I go there specifically for the Dockers lineup.
Its close by, its Sears so its never really crowded and mall rats avoid it like the plague. Plus there is always parking by the sears entrance at the mall. End result, whenever I need work clothes I go there. They always had a good selection. I have no clue what else they sell besides the tool section I walk through to get to the mens clothes section.

They could sell Irish whores for all I know.

Oh yeah...my wife goes there because that's where she takes the boys to get their pictures.
