I'm home after a quick 4 hour shift. In just those four hours though, all hell broke loose. There were a shitload of people brought in by police brought in for involuntary psych admissions, as well as a few loonies who decided to force the docs to baker act their asses as well.
One lady had a wonderful little plan in her head where she must have figured that if she came in and claimed she would kill herself, the doctors would give her the drugs she had listed that she claimed she was on. Funny how announcing to the doctors that you're probably going to kill yourself gets you a nice mandatory psych eval and an automatic admission into the hospital for at least one night. She was not a happy camper when she realized her cunning plan to get drugs got her stuck in a hospital for a few days. I know she wasn't happy because she kept crying about how she wanted to go home. Waaaaaaah.
