What about these two?

1) Is a terrible phone, you know the main reason you buy the device.
2) Is on a shitty network.

I dont know that number 1 applies much anymore. Actual talking is going by the wayside.

AT&T sucks yes that's a given, but is there any authoritiative test data, not just rumors, that the iPhones reception is weak?

My iPhone works as well or better as an actual phone than any other phone I've ever had. Really, I think people just like to hate on that which is currently popular. There's nothing wrong with the iPhone as a phone. All cells drop calls, have dead spots, etc. etc.

Meh, maybe. But I've had the iPhone and the dreaded ATT network two years now without problems. Maybe 1 dropped call a week, something like that anyway.

I still don't get why anyone wouldn't own an iPhone. Love the shit outta mine.

But does any magazine or website do regular comparison tests of reception strength?

I've never lost a call on the past two phones I've had. One was a Razer and the other is an LG whaddeveritizwiddakeboard.

We're a Verizon town up here though.
