There are all kinds of reports out there. I can't search for it now.

There was one I read that took a basic att free phone and did research on signal strength and dropped calls and the iphone sucked a nut in comparison.

You asked a question.

Your question was answered by an industry insider.

Now you want everyone else to dig through magazines to convince you?

It shouldn't be too hard to give me the name of a magazine that does comparison tests of cellphone reception strength. I don't need the exact link.

People can say "Yes there is evidence" all they want, but just saying something doesn't make it so. I'd like actual data, along with an explanation of how the tests were conducted.

I think I must've lucked out and just live in an area where ATT has really strong reception.

Just checked CNET, they don't compare reception. All they say is: "Cellular reception is a two-part equation. The first factor is the strength of the carrier's network. Without a doubt, signal strength plays a huge role, so if you're having trouble getting a signal in a specific area, I'd blame the network first. But the cell phones themselves also have an effect. Since no two phone models are the same, they will differ in the strength and the accuracy of their antennas and receivers. In my experience, Nokia phones tend to offer solid reception, but there's not an industry consensus by any means. I'd be interested in hearing your opinions. "

From what I understand, large metropolitan areas generally have good reception with ATT. Here it is fairly good from what I understand.
