In all honesty though I guess the original intent of my first post, although wildly misdirected, was that instead of reading the bitching on both boards I just wanted to find somewhere that had the same good people and fun posts. Isn't that what we all want?

I have kinda let it go on and encouraged it because what this company is doing is like a stranger coming into your house and taking a shit on the carpet. Would you just put on a smile and let him do it and then leave your house while he continually takes dumps all over your home?

I understand that Rez and Nancy are good people who had an unfortunate thing happen to them that forced this situation. Our former forum owner just lost interest in the board and decided to sell it when a good offer presented itself and he could move on with his life. So we aren't quite in the same situation, however both of these owners had the option to first go to the people that made their board what it was to see if anyone would want to step up and takeover running the board as a community driven site before they offered it up to the unholy corporate ad nightmare, they both chose to take the more lucrative way out. I feel for Rez and Nancy for what they went through and what they lost, I really do, but they chose this path and it wasn't a blind path. This forum virus has been sweeping the net for awhile now and they could of easily researched what VS really brought to the table when they improve their forums. People get angry when this happens, they knew it would happen. I don't subscribe to the my forum is different from every other forum out there theory, we all get our members from the same pool of assholes (I know, I am one from that pool.) It will be like this for a couple weeks and then everyone will get over it and either move on or just go on and accept it.

I'm a military brat. This falls right in my comfort zone. New assignment, new friends, and some of my old friends parents got stationed here.
