I actually looked at it for nearly a full minute before I realized the bike WASN'T a complete total-loss accident crash bike. Only with what a consider to be an undue amount of scrutiny was I able to realize that 1) The text of the listing wasn't sarcasm, and 2) The bike actually WAS customized, and not a horrible high-speed wreck.

Of course, the question remains:

Why? Why would someone do that to an innocent motorcycle??

Ha! I'm still the highest bidder!!!

Yea I don't care what the bike looks like. That single sided swing arm kit, the frame and the motor are worth $3-4,000 easily. I'll throw the rest of that shit away!

I think it looks like a crumpled up piece of aluminum foil.

Oh yea! A single sided swing arm is pretty cool and I can get the sub-frame, fairing stay and body kit for cheap and have about $3,000 into the bike total! Not to mention that the guy has some trick stereo stuff that might go well in my car or that I can sell. Once you strip off all that crap, you have a pretty nice piece of machinery under there!
